No. Kleap does not provide live GPS tracking and does not connect to the taximeter or any in-cab hardware, so you will not see cab locations on a map or read fares automatically. It is a record system: cabs, drivers, permits, shift assignments, and manually logged mileage, plus the calibration and renewal dates you need to keep each taxi legal.
Can it manage day-and-night shift handovers between two drivers?+
Yes, that is a natural fit. Each cab record shows the assigned day and night driver, and drivers log the odometer and fuel at handover so mileage and responsibility are clear between shifts. The logging is manual, entered by the driver in the browser, not read from the vehicle.
How does it help me keep medallions, permits, and meter inspections current?+
You store the medallion or operating license number, each driver's hackney or PSV permit expiry, and the taximeter calibration and safety-inspection dates as searchable fields.
