Contemporary Design

A dark-surrealist portfolio site built for an illustrator and designer.

This dark-surrealist portfolio site trades generic layout conventions for high-contrast typography and intricate, gothic-leaning artwork. It establishes a distinct artistic voice before a visitor even scrolls, pairing monospace detail text with bold editorial headers. It is a sharp example of how creators can use negative space and aggressive typography to make a portfolio stand out.
