Can it track giving by household instead of by individual?+
Yes. Each record is organized around a household or giving unit, so a couple's or family's tithes and offerings roll up together. That gives you one accurate year-to-date total per household, which is what members expect on their contribution statements.
Does it collect online tithes or send year-end giving statements automatically?+
No. Kleap does not process card or ACH payments and does not auto-email statements. It records the tithes and offerings you enter by date and fund, tracks each pledge against actual gifts, and gives you the year-to-date total per household that you use to prepare statements yourself.
Can we keep the building fund and missions gifts separate from the general fund?+
Yes. Every gift carries a fund designation, so building, missions, and other restricted offerings are tracked and reported apart from the general fund. Your totals view rolls up each fund's balance so the finance committee sees exactly where designated giving stands.
How do we know if members are keeping their pledges?+
