A working app, not a template
What it is
A wholesale product-catalog app is a browsable, login-gated web catalog where a wholesaler shows buyers their full product range with case packs, minimum order quantities, and tiered trade pricing. It replaces PDF line sheets and spreadsheet price lists with a searchable, always-current online catalog.
What your wholesale product catalog tracks
Every field below is one you can add, rename, or remove by chatting with Kleap — a starting point tuned for wholesale.
SKU / item number
The internal reference buyers quote when they want to reorder, so every line is unambiguous.
Minimum order quantity (MOQ)
Wholesale buyers must hit a threshold per line, so showing MOQ up front prevents under-qualified requests.
Case pack / units per carton
Wholesale sells by the case, not the unit, so buyers need to know how products are bundled.
Tiered wholesale price
Price breaks by quantity are the core of wholesale, so each tier should be visible to logged-in trade accounts.
Retail / RRP
Buyers calculate their margin from the suggested retail price, so listing it helps them decide fast.
Stock status / availability
Wholesale orders are large, so buyers need to see what's in stock versus on backorder before committing.
Lead time
Restock and made-to-order timing drives buyer planning, so a lead-time field sets expectations.
Product category / range
Wholesale ranges are broad, so categories let buyers filter to the lines they actually stock.
Product images
Buyers who never see the goods in person rely on clear photos to place confident bulk orders.
What good looks like for wholesale

One source of truth for the range so price and stock are never contradictory

Frequently asked questions
Can wholesale buyers place and pay for orders directly in the catalog?+
Not as a checkout with payment. Kleap builds a browsable catalog and can include a quote or order-request form buyers submit, but it does not process card payments or send an invoice automatically. You review each request and take payment through your normal wholesale terms (bank transfer, existing account, or a Stripe link you send).
How do I hide wholesale prices from the general public?+
Add logins so trade pricing only appears to approved accounts. Kleap supports user accounts and role-based access, so you can gate tiered pricing behind a buyer login while keeping product images and descriptions public for discovery.
Can I show different price tiers for different buyers?+
You can display quantity-based price breaks (e.g. 12+, 48+, 144+) as fields on each product, visible to logged-in buyers. Per-account contract pricing that changes per customer is not automatic — you'd represent that with account roles or handle bespoke quotes through the request form.
Will it sync with my ERP or accounting system?+
No. Kleap runs on its own database and does not integrate with external ERP, inventory, or accounting tools. You keep the catalog current by editing product records directly (or bulk-updating them), and it stays the single browsable source of truth for buyers.
