It stores each renter's assigned gate code as a field on the unit record, so staff can look up which code belongs to whom. It doesn't control the physical gate hardware or push codes to your access system — that stays with your gate controller; the app is the record of the assignment.

How do we track units heading to lien or auction?+

Each unit has a rental status plus a lien/auction flag, so past-due units surface in your dashboard and you can mark those crossing into the lien process. The app logs the status; the legal notices and auction listing happen through your own channels since it won't auto-send anything.
