Is this survey HIPAA-compliant or safe for health data?+
Kleap stores responses in its own database, but it is a general website builder, not a certified healthcare platform. Avoid collecting diagnoses or sensitive medical details; keep the survey to satisfaction ratings and general comments, and don't request identifying health information.
Can Kleap text or email the survey to patients after their appointment?+
No. Kleap builds the survey and gives you a shareable link or QR code; it does not send SMS or email invites or connect to your EHR or practice-management system. You share the link through your own channels, and responses store in your dashboard.
Can patients respond anonymously?+
Yes. Leave out any name or patient-ID field and responses are anonymous, which often increases candor. The tradeoff is that you can't follow up on a specific complaint unless the patient volunteers their contact details.
