What is an AI agency in Switzerland and how does it differ from a traditional IT services firm?
An AI agency focuses on deploying solutions based on artificial intelligence: conversational agents, process automation, document analysis, predictive dashboards. Unlike a generalist IT services firm that develops software broadly, an AI agency has specific expertise in language models, agent architectures, and the integration of these components into existing business processes. In Switzerland, the additional specificity is knowledge of the FADP, local tools (Abacus, Winbiz), and data sovereignty challenges.
What is the typical budget for an AI project in Switzerland?
Budgets vary widely depending on scope. A first pilot focused on a specific process (document processing, internal chatbot, email automation) is quoted individually for the initial phase, including audit, development, and deployment. Larger projects involving several integrated systems can require significantly higher investment. We prefer to start with a limited scope, measure the ROI, and then expand.
How is my data protected and where is it hosted?
All of Kleap's infrastructure is hosted on Hetzner servers located in Germany, in the European Union. We use open source AI models deployed on these same servers: your data never transits to US third-party services (AWS, Azure, OpenAI) and is never used to train anything. This architecture is compatible with the requirements of the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (nLPD) and the European GDPR.
Are you compliant with the revised Swiss FADP (nLPD)?
We incorporate nLPD requirements into our project approach: mapping of automated processing activities, flow documentation, assessment of automated individual decisions under article 22, and advice on information obligations toward data subjects. We are transparent about the fact that we do not currently hold formal certification (SOC2, ISO 27001), and we recommend working in coordination with your DPO or legal counsel on the most sensitive points.
How long does it take to see the first results?
For a well-defined scope, the first measurable results are visible within 4 to 8 weeks: a working prototype in weeks 2 to 4, a deployed version in weeks 6 to 8. Return on investment depends on the use case: document processing automation can pay back within a few months, while more complex projects may take longer to show their full impact.
Will AI replace roles in my company?
In the vast majority of projects we carry out, the objective is not to eliminate roles but to free up time from repetitive, low-value tasks so that teams can focus on more complex and fulfilling activities. In Switzerland, in a context of labor shortages in many sectors, AI is more of a talent retention tool than a headcount reduction tool.
Do you work with SMEs or only with large companies?
We work with businesses of all sizes, from small structures to larger groups. The approach is simply calibrated differently: a craftsperson needs a simple and low-maintenance tool, while a larger company faces more complex ERP integration and governance challenges. Our three support options (built for you, referral, self-serve) make it possible to adapt to every profile.
Which tools and systems can you integrate with?
We cover the most common integrations in the Swiss business landscape: Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint), Google Workspace, common CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive), Swiss ERP and accounting software (Abacus, Winbiz, Bexio), and collaboration tools (Slack, Notion, Asana). For specific business systems (sector-specific healthcare, legal, or industrial software), we assess feasibility on a case-by-case basis during the audit.
Do you offer training for our teams?
Yes. The adoption of an AI tool by teams is often the most underestimated friction point in projects. We offer training sessions tailored to different profiles: end users who need to understand how the tool works and its limitations, managers who need to supervise and adjust, and technical leads who will handle day-to-day maintenance. These sessions can be organized in person in French-speaking Switzerland or remotely.
How can I get started and what is the first step?
The first step is a 30 to 45 minute conversation to understand your context: sector, team size, most painful processes, technical and budget constraints. At the end of this exchange, we will either propose a quote for an audit phase or direct you to the most suitable partner if your project falls outside our scope. Use the form below or write to us directly to schedule this conversation.
