Connect Kleap in three steps

Muse writes the integration itself, then asks for your key. It takes a couple of minutes, once.

    Get your Kleap API key

    Sign in to Kleap, open Settings, then API key, and create a key in the "MCP / API access" section. It starts with kleap_live_sk_.

    Tell Muse to set up the connector

    Paste this in Muse. It reads the Kleap API docs, builds the connector and walks you through adding your key.

    Muse's custom connectors work this way: you ask Muse to connect to a service, and it writes the integration against that service's API. There is no MCP URL to paste in the Muse app.

    From then on, just ask Muse in plain words. It creates, edits and publishes your site through Kleap.

Launch a promo page

Using Kleap, build a landing page for my bakery's weekend promo: 20% off every sourdough loaf until Sunday, with an order form. Publish it and give me the live link.

Change and republish

On my Kleap site, change the homepage headline to "Fresh bread, baked every morning" and republish it.

Check your leads

Who filled in my Kleap contact form this week? List their names, emails and messages.

Use your own domain

Connect my domain mybakery.com to my Kleap site and tell me what to change at my registrar.

What Muse uses behind the scenes

Muse talks to the public Kleap REST API with your key. It creates a site from your description, follows its progress until it is ready, edits it when you ask for changes, and publishes it. Developers can read the same docs:

Questions

Is this an official Muse integration?

Not yet. Kleap is coming to the Muse connector directory, and the listing is pending with Meta. Until then you connect Kleap yourself with a custom connector, as described above. It uses Kleap's public API, nothing unofficial.

What does it cost?

Whatever Muse builds uses your normal Kleap credits, the same as building in Kleap directly. There is a free plan to start with, and Kleap charges nothing extra for connecting Muse.

Is it safe to give Muse my API key?

You stay in control. You can revoke the key at any time in your Kleap settings, and Muse stops working with Kleap immediately. Nothing is bought without you: if a domain or plan has to be paid for, Muse hands you a Stripe checkout link that you open and confirm yourself.

Can Muse see my other Kleap sites?

The key belongs to your Kleap account, so Muse can work on the sites in that account. To keep it narrow, create a dedicated key for Muse and revoke it when you are done.

Do I need Muse for Small Business?

No. It works with any Muse that supports custom connectors. Muse for Small Business, available in the US and Canada, is a natural fit for building and running your business site.
