How does it work?

These are not fonts. Each letter is replaced by a look-alike character from the Unicode standard, for example the mathematical letters 𝓐 to 𝔃. That is why the text keeps its style once pasted: it is the characters themselves that are different.

Keep it for short texts — a name, a bio, a title. Screen readers spell these characters out one by one, and search engines do not read them as words, so do not use them for important information.

Frequently asked questions

Is the fancy text generator free?+
Yes, free and without signup. There is no limit on how many times you use it.
Why do some characters show as boxes?+
A few apps or older phones do not have every Unicode character in their fonts. Try another style: cursive and bold work almost everywhere.
Can I use it for my Instagram bio?+
Yes. Instagram accepts these characters in the bio, the name field and captions. Keep your username itself in plain letters so people can search for you.
Does it work with accents?+
Yes. Accented letters keep their accent on top of the styled letter, which works for most styles.
Is fancy text bad for SEO or accessibility?+
For long texts, yes: screen readers and search engines do not read these characters as normal words. Use them for decoration, not for the main message.
