The short answer
You do not need to transfer your GoDaddy domain or buy another domain. First, describe your business in Kleap and publish the generated website. In Kleap Settings → Domains, add the domain you already own. Then open GoDaddy Domain Portfolio, select the domain, choose DNS, and edit the web records. Set A @ to 178.104.71.55 and A www to the same address. If old A, AAAA, or www CNAME records point to another host, remove those conflicting web records only. Keep MX and TXT records so business email continues to work. Save the changes and complete GoDaddy's identity check if Domain Protection asks. Kleap detects the public DNS and provisions SSL automatically.

Where to click in GoDaddy
GoDaddy calls the root hostname @. Its A-record editor connects that hostname to an IPv4 address. The website can move to Kleap while registration, renewal, and email stay at GoDaddy.

Edit the root record
Choose the A record whose Name is @. Set its Value to 178.104.71.55 and keep the default TTL.
Point www to the same site
Remove a conflicting www CNAME or old A record, then add A, Name www, Value 178.104.71.55.
Save and verify identity
Save the records. If Domain Protection is enabled, GoDaddy may require a 2-step verification code or one-time password.
Propagation: GoDaddy notes that DNS changes can take up to 48 hours globally; some resolvers update sooner.

Troubleshooting
If the domain does not show the site yet
GoDaddy will not save the change
Complete the Domain Protection identity check. A pending 2SV or registrant-email prompt can block the save.
A parked GoDaddy page remains
Verify that @ no longer points to GoDaddy's parking IP and that you edited the domain's active DNS zone.
Business email is important
Change only A/AAAA/CNAME web records for @ and www. Do not remove MX, SPF, DKIM, or DMARC records.
Common questions
Before you touch DNS
Do I need GoDaddy Websites + Marketing?
No. GoDaddy can remain the domain registrar while Kleap builds and hosts the website. Registration and site building are separate services.
Should I change GoDaddy nameservers?
No. Keep the existing nameservers and edit the active DNS zone. Replacing nameservers could also move email and verification records.
What exact GoDaddy values should I enter?
Create A @ → 178.104.71.55 and A www → 178.104.71.55. Keep the default TTL. The current Kleap flow requires no CNAME.
Can I keep GoDaddy email?
Yes. Keep every MX and email-related TXT/CNAME record. The two Kleap A records affect web traffic, not mail delivery.
