How can I build my own marketplace?

Is there a free marketplace builder?
Kleap has a free plan: free usage that refills, and free publishing on a kleap.io address. You can use it to build and test a first version with real users. Your own domain needs a paid plan, and the Pro and Business plans add much more usage for larger builds.
Can the marketplace take payments and commission?
Not out of the box. Kleap has no built-in payment splitting or seller payouts. A marketplace can be connected to Stripe, and split payouts need Stripe Connect set up in your own Stripe account. If commissions are central from day one, a dedicated platform like Sharetribe may fit better.
