Build a site for my courses. A page per course with the syllabus, who it is for, the dates, the price and an enrol button. The enrolment form asks for name, email and which course, and saves each one so I can see who signed up. Add an about page and a contact page. Show upcoming dates prominently.
Anyone teaching the same group over several weeks
Build a site with a student area behind sign-in. A course has a title, a description and a start date; a lesson has a title, a date, materials and an order within the course; a student has a name, an email and the course they are on. Each student sees only their own course, its lessons and their progress through them. I add lessons and see who has worked through what.
One-off sessions rather than multi-week courses
Build a site for my workshops. Each workshop has a title, a date, a duration, a place limit, a price and a description. Show upcoming ones first with how many places are left. Sign-up asks for name and email and reduces the remaining places. I see who signed up for each workshop. Past workshops move to an archive.
