Add an about page and a contact page with a short form. Restrained — generous white space, work at full width, typography doing the talking.

Build a photography site. Galleries grouped by type of work, each opening full-screen images. An about page, a page with what I charge and what is included, and a contact form asking for the date, the type of shoot and a message. Images lead everything; keep the interface almost invisible.
Writers, journalists, copywriters
Build a portfolio for my writing. Home lists my selected pieces with the publication, the date and a one-line summary, newest first. Each piece links out to where it was published. Add an about page with what I write and who I have written for, and a contact page with a short form. Type-led and quiet — the words are the work.
