Prompts for a dashboard site

Paste one, change the details to yours. Each names what gets stored before it says how anything should look — that is the difference between a working site and a pretty page.

Orders dashboard

A small business watching sales without a spreadsheet

Build a dashboard for my orders. Sign-in required. An order has a customer name, an amount, a status (new / in progress / shipped) and a date. Show revenue this month, totals per status, and a table I can filter by status and date and edit in place. Put the numbers first and keep the styling out of the way.

Weekly metrics dashboard

Anyone reporting the same handful of numbers every week

Build a dashboard where I record a few metrics each week and see them over time. An entry has a date, a metric name, a value and an optional note. Let me define which metrics I track. Show one chart per metric over the last twelve weeks, the latest value, and the change against the previous week. I sign in; nobody else sees my data.

Support queue with response times

Anyone answering tickets and reporting on them

Build a dashboard for support tickets. Each ticket has a subject, a customer, a channel, an opened date, a closed date and a status. Show open tickets by age, how many were closed this week, and the median time to close. Let me open a ticket and mark it closed. Highlight anything open longer than three days.
